| Alright, so today is Wednesday, and Wednesdays suck. I did leave the campus area for Walmart though, which is always fun, and bought some "shook ramen" and hi-c and tuna helper and some cookies and some turkey and, ooh, lime sherbert. Among other things. Total came out to $46 ("forty six dollars! jeez! what?" i thought when i saw that ridic-alous number). After the mall of Kirksville, i went to Interfraternity Council, or IFC, the gayest thing known to mankind... ever... which made me want to hang myself from the beautiful SUB stairway in the middle of the meeting. Well, that let out, I came home and made myself a turkey sandwich and some prok ramen along with some fiery hot pringles (yes, i am on the fAtkins diet, in which you consume as many carbs as possible, because they're cheap), all of which kick dorm food ass. I am quite excited, though, as I will have a friend visiting me this Friday from the LIberty, MO area. Some cute girl in her late teens... I forget her name, but what can I say... Yeah... After this I'm gonna finish the BBC version of The Merry Wives of Windsor (acts IV and V), which I recommend highly to anyone who is a fucking moron or in a class that requires it. I just heard something big break upstairs, go figure frat house, so I'm gonna see if it's mine. Peace. | | |
| Well, happy holidays one day late, all. Once again I get on to this xanga thing to write something few will read. However, my picante chicken ramen are cooking right now... so i'll just rant for a while i guess. Ding. They're done. So I'll rant and expand the size of my ass at the same time. But alas, I have a poetry test at 130 and a meeting with my counselor at 100... so I've gotta learn some goethe before then... "wer reitet so spaet durch nacht und wind? / es ist der vater mit seinem kind..." a wonderful selection from that wonderful german author/scientist/poet/renaissance man/pimp. | So I decided to make this xanga blog thing... never had a blog before, damn, i feel special... I really don't know what to say, i mean, chances of someone reading this are slim to none. My inspiration for joining this might though... let's hope, then it's not all for naught. So, uh, info about me maybe? Well, I'm Brian Jones, as my blog-user-name would suggest, I am a proud member of Phi Sigma Kappa, Gamma Epsilon Chapter, i'm 19, i go to Truman State University, the Harvard of the Midwest... although we're in the middle of incest, usa (aka kirksville, mo: home of the ULTIMATE TOWNIE!) and the meth capitol of our great state. I'm a German major, interested in the sciences and arts and the languages, none of which I feel I'll ever really, truly, fully understand... but hey, the pursuit knowledge is worth... something...
